Today: He is almost here; can you hear?
Passage: Gen 3, John 21
8 And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.
9 Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” (Gen 3: 8-9, NKJV)
God was after Adam and Eve, more than they were after God
It was like God wanted them, than they wanted God
This God, the same God went after Peter, when he almost deserted God
And God asked him, “Simon, son of Jonah,[b] do you love Me more than these?” (John 21: 15, NKJV)
When we are too busy throughout the week and get so weak by the weekend, God is asking us the same question(s); “Where are you, my son/daughter?”
“Do you love me?”
If we look out there, there are more than enough signs for His coming!
For some reason, even the Governments are “waking up”, but “we” are still pulling our blankets up, so that we can sleep for some more time!
Let me tell you, even slumber or a nap can cost us much; don’t get too sleepy!
The other day, somebody pulled their car into a gas station and took a small nap before filling their car. By the time he finished his nap, the gas prices went up by 17 cents or so per gallon!
So, be careful before you take your next spiritual nap!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to wake up from my sleep and get to work for you Lord. It looks like there is so little time left, and that there is so much to be done. So help me God. Amen
