Welcome!
Passage: Psalm 32 (NIV 84)
Today: When God finds us!
9 Do not be like the horse or the mule, which have no understanding but must be controlled by bit and bridle
or they will not come to you. 10 Many are the woes of the wicked, but the Lord’s unfailing love
surrounds the man who trusts in him (Psalm 32, NIV 84)-emphasis added
God disciplines those whom He loves; however, His discipline will be “light” if we understand His will and act accordingly, on time. It becomes harder when we become rebellious and as God has to come after us for something!
God is a God who likes to keep good relationships; that was one purpose He created man. God used to visit Adam and Eve in the garden
God is committed to, and He communicates with what He created!
Communication is part of commitment; what do you think?
If we are committed to a person, we will make sure that we communicate
The other day, I was talking to someone who was selling a certain “plan” for making long-distance calls; he said, “if you don’t use it at least once in a month, your account will be canceled; at least check your balance once a month”
If we don’t communicate with someone for a long time, relationship gets cut-off!
Someone in church had a baby yesterday, and are excited about it; the most exciting thing about a baby is that it makes sound/noise. It doesn’t matter it is a cry or anything; some form of noise makes the parents and others happy!
Do we make God happy? It doesn’t matter even if it is just some tears, and no words. But He would be so excited to hear some noise!
When He don’t hear anything from us for a long time, He is definitely concerned!
6 For this reason, all who obey you should pray to you while they still can. When troubles rise like a flood,
they will not reach them. 7 You are my hiding place. You protect me from my troubles and fill me with songs of salvation. Selah 8 The Lord says, “I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you. (psalm 32, NCV)-emphasis added
If we pray to God now, He will be more then excited to hear and answer our prayers. He will be more than excited to show us the right way, because He can see our ways from above; He knows where exactly we are going to end up!
There will come times when we cannot really pray. Those may be times when we are so burdened with certain situations; but all the prayers we do before that, will help us at that time! Pray when you can; pray now!
Psalm 32 is a psalm of intimacy with God; just read it a couple of times. When I was sharing this psalm in church last Sunday, I didn’t really know this much. But after that, God continued to minister to me from this psalm. Thank God for His word. It is so powerful-more powerful than any TV show!
One of the signs of intimacy is sharing the “secrets” with someone; that shows trust/confidence. We can share all our secrets with God; He will keep it confidential. Only thing is, don’t ever lie to God; that hurts God!
Have a blessed day!

Prayer: Almighty God, thank you for your love and care. I admit that I have been avoiding you many times, by not talking to you and by not hearing from you/your word. Let me not do another thing without your counsel! In Jesus’ name, Amen
When we are too busy to “find” God, He will make every effort to find us; but sometimes, that meeting can be little painful. Can we “find” God before that?
