Before we even pray!

Welcome!

Passage:  Psalm 32 (NIV 84)

Today: Before we even pray!

2 Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. (Psalm 32, NIV 84)

Transparency is one thing that is too hard to find in people these days; many people have been “shocked” by trusting certain others people who had all the cunningness and crookedness in them. Prayer and discernment will help!

One of the good things I find in the west, in the US is that people are more transparent; there is much less “cover-up” here, compared to certain other parts of the world; people look “less holier”in front of others, just for that reason!

The “spiritual make-up” we do everyday to cover up the sins in us make us more sick, just like how some of the cosmetics are bad for the body; the best thing is to be open and have a relaxed and peaceful mind!

It is better for God to cover-up our sins, than we cover them up

People transparent in life often get less approval from others, but they get more approval from God; they pray and God works!

We are the greatest loosers, if we “act” life/love; if we lack love towards people in the home, church or elsewhere, don’t take it too far! The farther we go, the greater the fall!

There are many families where “cold war” is going on for years; it looks like many of these people eat more medicines that food (!)

Down the road, if love gets “cold” and temptation and opportunity for sin gets “warm”, and when we are not enjoying our walk with God, we are more likely to fall into the hands of the devil!

Paul was never “fake” in his life or ministry; he “suffered” for that, yet chose not to “act” what he didn’t have! (2 Cor 7)

Many of us lost our love and fear for God long time back, but are still “acting” it

It is a dangerous place to be; we better come back!

Many of our prayers don’t get answered because of our “covering up” nature; the moment we become “open”, God will open up ways!

18 If I had cherished sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened; 19 but God has surely listened
and heard my voice in prayer. (Psalm 66, NIV 84)

Before we make the next prayer, make sure we remove that that sin from our life; we will see how God answers

16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective. (James 5, NIV 84)-emphasis added

Many people get sick in their body by covering things up; there is only so much our mind can take; then it finds its way into our body!

Have a blessed day; let us make things better, not bitter!

BG

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for another blessed day. Help me to live more like you day after day, even if it costs or hurts, because it is better to look better in your eyes, than to “look better” in other’s eyes and make life bitter. Amen

No one else can STOP our blessings, as we do!
