God said, remembered and blessed!

Welcome!

Passage: Gen 7, NIV 84

Today: God said, remembered and blessed!

7 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. (Gen 7:1, NIV)-emphasis added

8 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. (Gen 8:1, NIV)- emphasis added

9 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth. (Gen 9:1, NIV)-emphasis added

If God said something to somebody and they obeyed it, God will not just forget them. Even though Noah made the ark, he did not get into the ark as and when he wanted; instead, Noah waited for God to tell him when to enter!

Many projects/churches fail because man makes decisions that God has to make! Sometimes God entrusts various types of responsibilities to one person

Noah had to be a preacher and a builder; he was also entrusted with responsibility to get the animals into the ark; He might have trained himself for that!

God closed the doors! the flood started only seven days later; that was a test-time for Noah; people might have said that Noah was wrong!

God does not work the way man thinks! God is God!

God remembered: God remembered Noah, his family, and all the creatures in the ark. Sometimes we see prayers by men of God, who prayed that God will remember them. God does not forget His people; but prayer is always worth it!

God blessed Noah and his family: God’s blessing is important. Jesus told His disciples to bless others. We can bless our children as well as others. Blessing is a great thing among the Jewish people. Blessing has its power and benefits

If we don’t get God’s blessings upon anything we do, we won’t be blessed!

God blessed Noah when he obeyed God; God cannot bless us when we do things on our own, apart from God’s plan

You and your family have a blessed day, divine provision and protection! (Ps 67)

Peace!
