Today: A fight like no other!
Passage: 2 Cor 10, NIV
3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. (2 Cor 10, NIV)
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph 6, NIV)
8 The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. (1 John 3, NIV)
Jesus came for a reason, a purpose; He did not come to earth on a vacation!
Most of us love to live a life where everything is within our hand’s reach and where life is without any struggle at all
In Ephesians 6:12, we read about a struggle. A struggle is a life/death experience; you can’t afford to loose it!
Everyday, we can see people loosing their “struggle” and failing/falling, because they were not cautious; they were unaware of the devil’s schemes
11 in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes. (2 Cor 2, NIV)
A good number of us are ignorant and careless; it is fatal!
I was recently going over some safety realted stuff, from the OSHA
They give examples of many people who died on the job because of “familiarity” and carelessness. “I do/see this everyday” does not spare us. What we have been doing (wrong) for days and years can get us one day!
We see many leaders/shepherds who lost their anointing and are now running after power, politics and possessions, while their “sheep” runs after pleasure
Most in the christian community are travelling in the “danger-zone”-with lack of prayer, praise and word; we just “survive” and that too because of His grace!
Satan loves to hear the teaching that “there is no devil or hell”, just like how a thief would love to see people who belive that there are no thieves around; such people will be careless and leave everything at the thieves’ disposal!
Satan has stolen many things including joy and peace while we were “sleeping”
When we are (spiritually) awake, the thief cannot steall!
If we take our fight with the devil light, we are making the biggest mistake!
God saved us for a reason; He needs you and me for a bigger purpose
Each and everything we do, wherever we go, make sure God is with us
If we are sensitive tio His voice, many dangers could be avoided
