Welcome!
Today: I know who holds my hand, my tomorrows..
Passage: Psalm 121, Prov 7
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. (Ps 121, NIV 84)
A song of ascents, psalmist is on his way to the temple- the presence of God, up the Hill. His only hope is in God
Even though we all call upon God at times, we fail to acknowledge God properly on many occasions.
This psalm is mostly about the Lord who is our helper and our keeper
There were times we would have been lost; there were times when we thought we wouldn’t make it; times when the doctors said this is difficult……
Sometimes, we had to take the risk; a “risk” is a risk. That is what it means
But without taking some risks, we can’t reach anywhere
Jesus took the risk himself, emptying himself of the glory and safety of being in heaven, and became like a servant and a prisoner
But then, that risk was worth it. You and I were saved from hell because of that
If we are willing to take some risks, we can save many
If someone is in a fire or water or in some type of an accident where they cannot help themselves, they need someone else to help them
Those who help them are open to attacks as well; it is the love and concern that goes beyond all fears and prompts someone to rescue them
11 Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. 12 If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it? (Prov 24, NIV 84)
God has promised us that He will not let our foot slip; God keeps His eyes open and watches us, 24/7. He does not go to sleep, even as we do
What more do we need?
18 He replied, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. 20 However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.” (Luke 10, NIV 84)
If we want to live free of all the worries, get connected to Jesus through the cable of prayer and transfer those worries to Him. Let Him deal with it
We cannot substitute prayer, praise and tears, with anything else
Japan, Libya, ……..we don’t know what is next. We don’t know about tomorrow
But one thing we know-He will keep us-holding us by our hand. He will come soon
Stay blessed and prayed

Proverbs: Proverbs Ch 7 (Prov 7:4-5 below)
4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your kinsman;
5 they will keep you from the adulteress, from the wayward wife with her seductive words. (NIV 84)
