Scripture Passage: 1 Peter 5 – NIV (NIV)
6 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten ([a]unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. (John 3:16, AMP)
Greetings in the name of Jesus!
God gives. Once God made man, God has always been providing His creation with the best-spiritual, emotional, physical, ….
After God made man, God found that it was not good for man to be alone; so God gave him a woman, to be his wife
After man sinned, God found out that it was dangerous for the human kind, to live without redemption from sin. A culprit who is on the loose after a crime, will be full of fear. Man is unsafe until and unless he/she finds the savior-the one who saves from the penalty of sin
That is why God decided to offer His best, to you and me, which is Jesus Christ
God wants us to take the best and most out of Jesus. God doesn’t want us to live in spiritual poverty, having Jesus with us; who is the prince of all spiritual blessings, the King of all kings, and the Lord of all lords
Jesus is the one channel through which God has provided all that we need
3 His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. (2 Peter 1, NIV)-emphasis added
In Jesus, we find answers to all our questions and problems.
People may give you gifts, but none of them lasts for ever. The gift God gave us, is an ever lasting gift. That gift can sustian us. We need not sustain or maintain the gift God gave us, which is Jesus Christ
When Jesus departed physically, Holy Spirit physically came down
Unlike Jesus who was in one physical location while on earth, Holy Spirit is everywhere. He (God) never says “no”, and has no mood changes. It’s all about us
17 Every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father who created all the lights in the heavens. He is always the same and never makes dark shadows by changing. (James 1, CEV)
Thank God for His most precious gift of Himself, to us
More than using God for any other benefits, enjoy the greatest gift of all, God Himself! He wants us to enjoy His presence and to grow in the knowledge and relationship with Him!
