Passage: Deuteronomy 3 (NIV 84)
Today: Making the most good!
13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, 14 for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” 15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. 18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. (Ephesians 5, NIV 84) emphasis added
Every day, we hear more horror stories than good ones; but the truth is that the world and the media does not bring the good things to light. They know that people are more interested in hearing bad news, than good!
The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news; there are not that many who like to hear it!
The horror happening around the World gives us a picture of what satan is doing to many of our people, especially the younger ones, these days; satan gets these good, lovely kids and youth, and keeps them slaves to himself through bad music, games and the such; they will be “fed” through their eyes and ears, with all kinds of stuff that make them insensitive to sin and crime, and they end up doing the worst!
What are we feeding ourselves with? Time is the most productive resource we have, at our disposal; if we waste it, we pay for it-just like wasting money
We are advised to to make the most with our time; since we don’t see any immediate danger as we waste time daily, and as we avoid reading the word and praying because “we have no time”, beware! Just as there are rewards for those using their time wisely, there are repercussions for every second that is wasted!
Many people struggle to increase their earnings, when they have a financial trouble; the truth is that our expense will increase as income goes up; cutting on expenses is what really helps. Otherwise, even the millionaire will not have money to buy a cuo of coffee, because of too much debt and commitments due to a wrong lifestyle!
The days are evil; we better learn to say “no” to that which can be avoided
Good habits will become the greatest asset; bad habits and character can bring people down from all the way up in a second, like the “snake” in the “snake & ladder”!
It is important to listen to God as often as we can; let our eyes and ears be focuses on God so that we won’t have to regret later
When God is upto something good in our lives, the devil will try to take our attention away; many kids who got admission to best schools wasted their opportunities because of some “friend” or so. Later they regret, but no good!
It is time to see, say and do things right!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, you did not waste a second while on earth, and you accomplished much; many a time, you prayed all night and worked all day! I cannot do that much, but I can definitely do more than what I am doing now. So help me God; Amen!
We will have much time and money for ourselves, if we will use them wisely!
