He’s on His way, with the payroll!

Welcome!

Passage:  Psalm 30 (NIV 84)

Today: He’s on His way, with the payroll!

1 I will exalt you, O Lord, for you lifted me out of the depths and did not let my enemies gloat over me.
2 O Lord my God, I called to you for help and you healed me. 3 O Lord, you brought me up from the grave[b]; you spared me from going down into the pit. (Psalm 30, NIV 84)-emphasis added

As another year is about to leave us, we can only be thankful; unless the Lord had done it all for us, our situation would have been so bad, so very bad!

Devil is “good” at taking decisions and implementing them-most of which are destructive; he decides to steal, kill and destroy; he plans them

As a child of God, it is important to make decisions (with God’s help only). We can’t keep our decisions without His help!

We can keep a check on how we spend our time and money, on our health,  reducing body weight, etc; above all, we need to monitor our spirituality- time spend with God every day-praising, praying and meditating His word!

We need healing in many areas: spiritual, emotional and physical. The basic criteria for healing is forgiveness of one’s sins

Healing is a “must”; I mean, we should try to get healing at the earlierst, in our spiritual and emotional areas, more than the physical. We cannot just go on with those “hurts” too far; we may “collapse” spiritually/ emotionally/ physically, if we don’t deal with them!

We need healing in our relationships within the family and outside; “let it go like this” is a “no-no”! in most cases, it is better to do something before it is too late!

No one is perfect, except God; that includes us, and the other person(s); when we expect others to be “perfect”, we are expecting “the impossible”!

We need to correct our thinking; the word of God is our standard, the “mirror” for our souls. When we go to the doctor, he/she will tell us if our “numbers” are more/less than the normal; they may tell us our x-ray looks “different” from the “normal” one; we are compared to that which is “ideal”

Jesus Christ is the “norm” for a child of God; our soul/behaviour/attitude is  to be compared with His; He is the standard; He is the truth! (Eph: 4: 14-32, NIV1984)

Our local church may not always be perfect; as the coming of the Lord approaches, we will see a “seperation” between the genuine and the not – between those who are serious about God and those who are not; He’s coming for His “remnant”, not for those “special” people or the “politicians” in church; Many who get the “honor” here, will (have to) remain here after His coming and going, so that they can continue to get those honors!

10-11 The Angel continued, “Don’t seal the words of the prophecy of this book; don’t put it away on the shelf. Time is just about up. Let evildoers do their worst and the dirty-minded go all out in pollution, but let the righteous maintain a straight course and the holy continue on in holiness.” 12-13 “Yes, I’m on my way! I’ll be there soon! I’m bringing my payroll with me. I’ll pay all people in full for their life’s work. I’m A to Z, the First and the Final, Beginning and Conclusion. (Rev 22, The Message)-emphasis added

As the Lord is about to show-up with “the payroll”, let us STOP looking at others in church/outside; we better try to share the gospel/pray for someone if we can.

When asking for “directions” in life, don’t ask the devil or his friends; ask the right person instead; ask God!

Have a blessed day

Prayer: Triune God, we, as a family,  thank you for giving us another year, and for delivering and healing us in many areas. Thank you Lord, for all your provision & protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Q: There are so many around you, near you, who need your prayer and counsel; can you see them? Pray, and the Lord will open your eyes and show them to you!
