Someone is waiting for you!

Welcome!

Passage: Acts 10  (NIV 84)

Today: Someone is waiting for you!

. 32 Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.’ 33 So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us.” 34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts men from every nation who fear him and do what is right.  (Acts 10, NIV 84) emphasis added

Peter was staying as a guest in another house. God gave the exact info and address of Peter, to Cornelius. Beware! When you stay as a guest in someone else’s house, God knows that. You can’t by-pass God!

So men sent by Cornelius reached the house where Peter was staying as a guest

You never know when God will sent someone to you. When God sent someone to us in the past, may be that we failed to recognize it  and sent them away!

It is important to discern. Sometimes, devil will also sent people to you as well!

I see many people struggle in ministry, with no results. When ministry is done according to God’s directions, there must be results (results are not always measured by quantity!)

God informs things in the spiritual, physical and even political realm, to His children. So, there won’t be that panic/shock like others

It is very interesting to watch the  US politics developments and the fight between Capitalism and Socialism.  In a way, socialism and capitalism are like two sides of the same coin. The common factor for both is that God is out of the picture, and both are about “power”. An individual/ group of people decide how money should be distributed. In the former,  it is spread across the board, but disrespecting people who contribute much with their skills, brain and hard work; in the latter, the most money it is kept by a few. In both cases, a group of people dictate things. It is all about power. God waits until “the tower of Babel” is upto a certain height. Then He says, “enough is enough”

(New Testament/Paul’s philosophy is different. Those who have much, share it with those who don’t have, but both are given due respect. God is in the center, not “power”!)

On the same token, when the land becomes a “heaven” for sinners, it becomes a “hell” for saints

It is time to get back to work. The church in America will get back to sleep in a week or two. It just woke up after the election. But you-man/woman of God, don’t get back to sleep. God wants you to at work-for Him!

People are waiting for you, like in Cornelius’ house, saying “we are all here”! These are people willing to listen to you. Stop dreaming; start working!

There is hope! There is hope in repentance and prayer. It must start with you and me. Others will follow.

God rules. He is the King of kings and Lord of Lords. Glory to God!

Have a blessed day!

Prayer: Father God, I know you are in charge. I have waited and rested long enough; let me not go back to sleep again. I need to get on my knees, pray and listen to you before something happens, not after. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
