Passage: 2 Kings 2: 15-22, John 4 (NIV 84)
Today: Spiritual & physical healing for the land!
19 The men of the city said to Elisha, “Look, our lord, this town is well situated, as you can see, but the water is bad and the land is unproductive.” 20 “Bring me a new bowl,” he said, “and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. 21 Then he went out to the spring and threw the salt into it, saying, “This is what the Lord says: ‘I have healed this water. Never again will it cause death or make the land unproductive.’” 22 And the water has remained wholesome to this day, according to the word Elisha had spoken. (2 Kings 2, NIV 84) emphasis added
39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers. 42 They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.” (John 4, NIV 84)-emphasis added
The waters of Jericho were healed by the word of faith that Elisha spoke
The town of Samaria was healed spiritually, through the words of Jesus
Both were kind of “cursed” places; but that doesn’t matter; no curse is too big for God and for those who trust in Him!
After Jesus spoke to the Smaritan woman and as she spoke to the Samaritans about Jesus, they asked Jesus to stay back. That was risk multiplied!
Jews won’t mingle with Samaritans. Now, Jesus is going to stay there, eating their food and drinking their water! The disciples could be in real “hot water”!
Ministry is not (done) “wifi” or “bluetooth”; you need to touch them. I mean, you really need to identify with them. It involves knowing, understanding, going, meeting, eating and and sometimes, staying with them. Ministry is involvement
When we pray for a really sick person, if we don’t have real compassion, nothing is going to happen. Real compassion is about putting ourselves in their shoes!
But if we have compassion for the person and faith in God, something will happen. We don’t need “rocket science” or M.Div for that!
Next time, when you get an opportunity to pray for someone you love, use it!
Many are not getting healing for their spirit/soul/body only because you and I are not speaking/praying faith. Speak! And it will be done
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[b] With that same spirit of faith we also believe and therefore speak (2 Cor 4, NIV 84)
God told Ezekiel to speak. He spoke to the dry bones and they got life!
Jesus spoke to the dead, stinking Lazarus; he came back o life!
Speak healing to the land, brother/sister, and it shall be healed! Salvation does not come through “this man or that man”, but from the Lord, through you and me!
I don’t prophecy who will win the US election; but I prophecy that you are going to start speaking for the Lord, in a way you never did before. Some of you are going to write; some of you are going to write anointed songs. Take it!
Some of you are going to see deliverance through a ministry, you never thought you will be doing. We got work to do, and the time and freedom are limited

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for speaking to me. Help me listen to you and speak the word of faith upon that which is “dead” and hopeless-that which I almost abandoned! I know you are a God of new and good things; love you Lord! Amen
The more we wait to start talking (faith), the more we delay His (God’s) work!
