Have your cup up?

Welcome!

6 Today: Have your cup up?

Passage: Esther 1(NIV)

7 Wine was served in goblets of gold, each one different from the other, and the royal wine was abundant, in keeping with the king’s liberality. 8 By the king’s command each guest was allowed to drink with no restrictions, for the king instructed all the wine stewards to serve each man what he wished.9 Queen Vashti also gave a banquet for the women in the royalpalace ofKing Xerxes. (Esther 1, NIV)

I remember  attending one of the  “Jesus Culture” spiritual party with kids

It was really a party-with much songs and worship, and the word from God

I could see almost all hands going up and worshiping, as opposed to just a few hands going up in many other meetings I have been to

All had a fluorescent “wrist-band” on them, as registered participants

When the light falls on it, it glows; it looked like everyone was holding a candle or something in their hand!

If someone didn’t have it by chance, they won’t have the glow!

When God’s glory comes down, only those who have the mark/spirit enjoy it

When the wine is served in plenty in a party, you don’t get it if you don’t have the cup, empty. Many a time, we blame God when we don’t get the things of God!

God gives without limits. Ask and go to Him with empty hearts. Get all the unwanted stuff away from our heart; allow Jesus to wash them out by His blood Then God will fill “our cups” with His things!

Coming back to the book of Esther: I was just thinking about the possible “clash” between Vashti and Esther. If Vashti and Esther came face to face, you can expect all kinds of looks/murmur and stuff, a mini “star-war” between the “stars”

Even as Esther chooses to be quiet/avoid, Vashti is not going to be quiet..!

We can see several “personality clashes” in the Bible. It just started with the first family-Cain and Abel; then, we see Abraham and Lot, Sarah and Hagar, Jacob and Esau, Hannah and Peninnah; the disciples, Peter & Paul and so on….!

How would you survive in a conflicting situation at work/home/church/……..?

If you don’t do things the way they want it, then you can expect these frictions

It is all about doing what God has called you and me to do, and going ahead. We can’t deal with all jealousy, pride and so on. In the end, we have to give the account

Esther survived, amidst all that was going on

You and I can! Enjoy the party now. Once we let God and His Spirit take over, there is no limit- not even the sky!

Yesterday, Pastor Bill Johnson was mentioning about how God would crack the  sky -the dominion of darkness- apart, and come down with His blessings for us

Have a blessed day!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for being there with me and for me all the time. I thank you for all your blessings upon me. When I move in that blessing, you take care of anything and every thing. Let me enjoy all that you have for me. Amen

When God’s party is on, satan has his party on as well; where will you join?
