The church with walls vs. the one without!

Welcome!

Today: The church with walls vs. the one without (walls)!

Passage: 2 tim 3

12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil men and
impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. (2 Tim 3, NIV)

The mission of the church in the world is to continue that which Jesus started

It is about pulling down/destroying the works/walls of the devil (1 John 3:8)

Such a job will be met with the highest resistance; no one likes someone who comes to destroy their works!

Every religion has gone through opposition; but each religion dealt with it differently. The principle of Jesus is not fighting back physically, but spiritually

In the physical, we deal with that which is visible; in the spiritual, we deal with the invisible, the root cause- not the symptoms or outward expressions

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Tim 1, NKJV)

The right way to deal with situations is without fear/doubt, and with faith, power, love and a sound mind (wisdom); this way we can overcome most situations!

Prayer, fasting, discipline and  meditating on the word are keys to success

On one side, people are constructing their best structures with strong “walls” around (and between) them

On the other hand, persecution is increasing all over the world against sincere christians, where they don’t even have church buildings or “walls” around (or between) them!

Christianity has lost its quality the most, where opposition is the least!

Where everything was favorable, the “problem” was God! Church has been “fattened” with money, pride, selfishness and the like, in such places

Churches compete with churches,  where love, power of God and sound mind are totally out of question. They need the best facilities, a Pastor with an “M.Something” and smart, and someone who is “presentable” to people, than God.

Theology has its rightful palce, but only after the Spirit (letter “T” comes just after “S”)

Whether the Pastor is full of Holy Spirit and wisdom, is the last question!

Jesus will be coming for which of these two groups; the persecuted or the “fattened”?

God bless your day. Think about it

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I pray for the persecuted for you, the selfless and sacrificial. I also pray for the church that has become “dead” without power, love and wisdom, that you will revive it with a baptism of love. Thank you; Amen!
