Bring it to Jesus ASAP

Welcome!

Today: Bring it to Jesus ASAP

Passage: Mark 5

21 When Jesus had again crossed over by boat to the other side of the lake, a large crowd gathered around him while he was by the lake. 22 Then one of the synagogue rulers, named Jairus, came there. Seeing Jesus, he fell at his feet 23 and pleaded earnestly with him, “My little daughter is dying. Please come and put your hands on her so that she will be healed and live.” 24 So Jesus went with him. (Mark 5, NIV)-emphasis added

Jesus had a very busy life

He was busy, mostly because of other people and their needs, not because of his own stuff. Jesus spent his time on earth as per the will of His father

When you do something good for others, you can go to bed peacefully

In a world where everyone is getting more and more selfish, you will make a difference if you can be selfless

This man Jairus was a synagogue ruler. He took much “risk” coming to Jesus, I belive. He would be “out” of his job, if they came to know he came to Jesus

But his only daughter was dying. So he had to do something about it

Do we care , when our children are dying spiritually or as they go through an emotional problem?

Jairus knew that the system he was in, could not solve his problem

So he came to Jesus. He knew, Jesus could

Jesus likes to solve problems. That was mostly His job, His passion!

If someoen comes to us with their problem we are unable to help such people, at least direct them to Jesus instead of doing nothing.

When a hospital cannot handle a certain situation/patient, they immediately refer them to another. I think churches should do the same

While Jairus was praying (telling Jesus) about the problem, he got news that his daughter just died! It just got bitter, instaed of getting any better!

Have you been there-where things got worse as you were praying?

Jesus took care of the problem. It was brought to Jesus while she was still alive, like they brought the news about Lazarus, before his death

If a patient dies after he/she was taken to the hospital, the hospital has to deal with it. Bring your problem/child/issue to Jesus before its too late!

Stay blessed.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, thank you for your promise that you will stay with me in my problem and through the problem. I need to trust you more than I do now. I need to transfer some of my problem files to you. Thank you. Amen

“If you find a better place/person than Jesus, just let Him know. He (Jesus) won’t get mad at you”
