Being wise and innocent!

Welcome!

Passage:  Psalm 32 (NIV 84)

Today: Being wise and innocent!

16 Behold, I am sending you out like sheep in the midst of wolves; be [c]wary and wise as serpents, and be innocent (harmless, guileless, and [d]without falsity) as doves. (Matthew 10, AMP)

It is a question that some  ask: “If God is more powerful than satan, then why is He sending someone like sheep in the midst of wolves? Why can’t it be the other way around?”

The power of God far outweighs the power of satan; yet Jesus yielded himself to be crucified and brought victory over sin and death; the cricifixion of Jesus was not a waste; Halleluiah! Instead, it was the biggest blow ever to the devil, when followed by the ressurection!

God’s kingdom works opposite to that of world’s kingdom; that is why many find it difficult to live for God, in a world that hates God and His principles

It takes a person who understands both these principles very well. God’s word gives us the wisdom we need; His word is wisdom and counsel; when we are about to “react” in a situation, Holy Spirit will bring God’s word to mind. That is why it is important to meditate on His word, and be driven by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will help us to be innocent, reminding us the word. Jesus was full of the word and the Spirit

25 “All this I have spoken while still with you. 26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14, NIV 84)-emphasis added

These days, we hear about many  shocking and unacceptable incidents, like never before; the world needs “the word” and the God of the word, like never before!

Our innocense will make sense to God, as wisdom will make sense to people

8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you. (Psalm 32, NIV 84)

When we think we have all the wisdom we need, we make a big mistake; only God can see things from above. He alone can give us the right advice

Have a blessed day!

Prayer: Father God, I thank you for all your provisions, protection and guidance. I did it on my own several times, and I failed misrably. I am seeking your face and advice. Help me to be a channel of your words and wisdom to others. In Jesus’ anme, Amen

We must be innocent enough to seek wisdom from God, and wise enough, to be innocent!
