Welcome!
Today: When we live right, we love right
Passage: Eph 4
1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. 2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. (Eph 4, NIV 84)-emphasis added
God was so pleased to call us unto Himself
When the word of God fills us, Jesus rules our heart. That will lead us to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit, as is mentioned in v.2 above
When the Spirit of God and the word of God takes control of a person, that person’s life will be a blessing, to others also
Our relationship with God is the most important; but, out of it must come our relationship with people
If we are too busy and too holy that we have no time for others, then God himself may get too busy for us
The reason we come together is not just to worship God; we can worship God in our homes and God will still hear. But as we come together as a body of believers, we get an opportunity to strengthen/encourage each other
Many of us has been encouraged by others; we have done the same to many
The relationship through the blood of Jesus is a mystery. We get so many brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and children in Christ
God’s call that we have received, is to life a life where Christ rules in our life
Jesus said, He will draw all people unto himself as He is lifted up
32 But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.” (John 12, NIV)
It is also true that if we lift Jesus in and through our life, people will be attracted to Jesus. If we lift Jesus in our family, Church, people will be attracted. More than any other techniques, we better lift the name of Jesus higher, and we will see the change in quality and quantity
Jesus always exalted the father; people came together in large crowds to hear Jesus. When Jesus rules on the inside of us, we will live a life worthy of His calling. It is through the word of God that Jesus lives in us. The more of the word goes into us, we will live a life worthy of His calling
And, as we are filled/controlled by the Holy Spirit, people will be drawn to God through us/our ministry. Many people do not find fruit in ministry because they themselves are occupied with hundreds of things, other than God
They hardly find time to spend with God in prayer/devotion
Have a blessed week
