Welcome!
Passage: 1 Cor 15, Prov 12
58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. (1 Cor 15, NIV 84)
The best way to make no mistakes, is to do nothing
When you do something, you might make mistakes
But some mistakes are our own fault-due to lack of planning
When we fail to plan, we plan to fail-I have read somewhere
Lack of communication is another big problem, in achieving success
People keep their “knowledge” to themselves; they don’t share it with others
This is seen very often in work places. They call it “Job security”
Even in spiritual field, we see similar things
But I have seen one thing. When we teach others what we know/have, we get something “new” from somewhere else.
Give and you will get
I read somewhere – When we fail to communicate, we communicate to fail
The other day I was speaking to a priest who was leaving for India after his term in the U.S. He shared about a certain situation about his new place, but then he told me: “Let God have His will and way on that”
Instead of using his own methods, he was willing to accept it
Many a time, we go after that which looks best for us. But God keeps the best for later. When we first see/hear about what God has for us, it, it may not look that good or great. We need our spiritual eyes open there
Recently, someone lovingly brought some “wine” from Israel, labeled “the wine from the wedding in Cana” (with no alcohol!)
I sipped a little bit, only to know that it was nothing but just grape juice!
That was nowhere close to what Jesus gave in Cana, I am sure
We can never make anything comparable to what Jesus makes/gives
There is so much marketing and money making going on in the name of Jesus
These days, people who are sincere for the Lord, are going through various trials and tests all over the world. These are the days of apostasy, when many will abandon true faith and go after that which glows and glitters
But then, Jesus is not coming for such. He is coming for the righteous and the faithful. Let nothing-nothing move you. Instead abound in the work of the Lord
God bless you

Proverbs for today: Prov 12
16 A fool’s wrath is known at once, But a prudent man covers shame. 17 He who speaks truth declares righteousness, But a false witness, deceit. 18 There is one who speaks like the piercings of a sword, But the tongue of the wise promotes health. (Prov 12, NIV 84)
