Today: My heart and my hands for Him!
Passage: Psalm 18
19 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
20 The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me. 21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD; I have not done evil by turning from my God. (Psalm 18, NIV 84)-emphasis added
God loves spaciousness and light; almost everybody likes a well-lit place with lot of room (space)
Here in New York, sometimes people live in congested space as they first come; when they go to homes with big rooms, children love to run around and play!
There is so much “room” in God; He delights to see His children “park” there and spend time in His presence
But like so many parks around us, God does not have that many visitors!
I have wondered why they have all these parks around with free access, but only very few go there, even in summer!
Most of us are so attached to our TV, inter-net and the world wide(wild?) web!
We are so much “caught-up” with stuff that steals our precious time
Start your day spending time with the King; He will brighten up your day!
Just praise Him and thank Him; sing some beautiful songs of praise
Read a Psalm of thanksgiving; give the soul a good kick start
God has great plans for you and me; He invites us to go to Him and get a glimpse of what He has for us
When you have the experience of a wonderful worship at home/church or elsewhere, you will really feel the difference
When you let God take over, He does take over; thereafter, everything is new!
You see how some companies’ take-over others? They change everything to their standard and style (By the way, marriage is not a take-over; it is a relationship!)
Do we have in us/our computer/home things that God does not appreciate?
Romans 6 is a powerful chapter. We belong to the master, not to ourselves
We have to volunteer to submit our lives to Him; He will not force us
Christianity is not a set of rules or a bundle of rituals; it is a relationship
God invites us to fall in love with Him; He loves us passionately
Every time you get “connected” to God, there may be so many new updates!
