Welcome!

Today: God saves and protects!

Passage: Daniel 2

10 The astrologers answered the king, “There is not a man on earth who can do what the king asks! No king, however great and mighty, has ever asked such a thing of any magician or enchanter or astrologer. 11 What the king asks is too difficult. No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among men.” (Daniel 2: 10-11, NIV 84)-emphasis added

King Nebuchadnezzar had a dream, and he forgot it!

Now, the King wants to punish others for not telling him the dream he saw, and its meaning (interpretation)

Good that the king knew that his dream meant something important; he had that much sense at least!

Just like this King getting ready to punish others for his fault, it is happening all over the world

(We have many “Nebuchadnezzar” s even today, but not that many “Daniel” s!)

Daniel stepped up and solved the problem; he prayed to God and gave the answer to the King

My focus today, is on what the astrologers told the King:

“No one can reveal it to the king except the gods, and they do not live among men”

They knew, “their god” could not reveal it, but a supernatural God could!

And such a God could not live among men like them either

What a great truth! Sometimes, great truths are spoken by people like them!

In Acts 16:17, we see a girl “advertising” the Apostles, that they were “servants of the Most high God”. Apostles cast that demon out of her, disregarding the “publicity” they were getting through her!

(Many of today’s “Apostles” would give her special rewards and praise her instead…!)

The supernatural God, the almighty who created all the galaxies, came down and lived among us. Isn’t that a great sacrifice?

And the same God revealed that dream to Daniel and saved the lives of many!

Do you have that God with you?

He can reveal mysteries. We don’t have to struggle like orphans!

He is a helper, a comforter, a guide, no matter what! (John 14-16)

God bless you, as you decide to walk in His presence and anointing!
