Welcome!
Passage: Rev 19, Prov 29
7 Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come,
and his bride has made herself ready. 8 Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”
(Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.) 9 Then the angel said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!’” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” (Rev 19, NIV 84)
What makes a marriage great?
It is not the expensive wedding party or the highly celebrated event
It is all about the life after the wedding; the way a wedding ceremony is done, may not have anything much to do with what happens after that!
When God is in a anything, it will be the best-even marriage
Heaven is excited about a great wedding that is going to take place. The bridegroom is perfect; He paid the greatest price ever!
He (Jesus) is working on a mansion for His bride, ever since He ascended to heaven after His resurrection. He will come down one of these days, to see His bride, which is the Church that has been separated/ set apart for Him
The priority is for those who suffered for the sake of Jesus, here on earth
Many have lost their lives for Jesus. Many still suffer persecutions and threats all over the world, just for Jesus!
As a bridegroom, Jesus is one who can understand us; He can and will help us; He is never too busy for His bride. Actually, He is interceding on behalf of His bride. God the Holy Spirit is here to watch us and counsel us, to keep us clean
Holy Spirit is preparing the Church to be the perfect bride for Jesus
That is why it is important to do things that please Jesus, while we are engaged to Jesus Christ as His bride, the Church. We are engaged through a covenant, not a contract. It is about a relationship, more than a religion!
As things are getting worse in the world day after day, God is the only hope
God is watching; He makes it at the right time!
As natural catastrophes claim the lives of many all over the world, as wars and famine are daily on the rise, there is a great and very urgent mission for which God has kept you and me here. PEACE!
Peace is not about the absence of trouble; it is about that calmness and comfort in the middle of the trouble-that God is in charge!
God bless your day.

Prayer: That the Lord will prepare us to be a perfect bride for our very own-JESUS
Proverbs: Prov 29 (verses below from NIV 84)
7 The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
11 A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control.
14 If a king judges the poor with fairness, his throne will always be secure.
17 Discipline your son, and he will give you peace; he will bring delight to your soul.
18 Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but blessed is he who keeps the law.
23 A man’s pride brings him low, but a man of lowly spirit gains honor.
25 Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe.
26 Many seek an audience with a ruler, but it is from the LORD that man gets justice.
