Today: When He sends, He provides!

Passage: Exodus 3, 4

12 “Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

13 But Moses said, “O Lord, please send someone else to do it.” (Exodus 4:12-13, NIV 84)

When God wants somebody for a job, He not only calls and sends them, but will also provide them with all that they need. Where He sends, He provides!

Moses was concerned about this sudden change/shift in his life, but then God was in control

People get excited about many things in the world; bur rarely do they get excited about the things of God

Israelites were crying and praying for deliverance. But when God came with the answer, they were like “this is not how we wanted it!”

They put it all on Moses, when the crisis came at the red sea

Moses had God on his side. That was his biggest gain

If you are sure that you are standing on God’s side, nobody can do anything to you. All schemes and plans of the enemy will fail

Moses did every move exactly as God told him. He did not hand pick anyone he wanted or do anything as he wanted. So he had that full confidence in God

As Moses was worried what he will say/preach, God told him not to worry about it. Instead, God said: “Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say”

When God says “go”, all you do is go. But you know, it is not that easy

God’s way does not come the way we expect. We better know that

Now, God tells Moses that God will help Moses speak and will teach what to say

See what Jesus himself did while he was here on earth:

49 For I did not speak of my own accord, but the Father who sent me commanded me what to say and how to say it. (John 12:49, NIV 84)

Every word that went out of Jesus was powerful and it accomplished something

When we let Him put His words in our mouth, similar things will happen!

Watch every word you speak. They can be powerful!

God bless you

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me to depend on you more and more. So far, I have been comfortably keeping quiet about you. Help me to speak for you, Lord. Amen.
