Today: God’s way, not mine!
Passage: Exodus 3, 4
27 The LORD said to Aaron, “Go into the desert to meet Moses.” So he met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him. 28 Then Moses told Aaron everything the LORD had sent him to say, and also about all the miraculous signs he had commanded him to perform. (Exodus 4:27-28, NIV 84)
When God sends, He guides
When God sent Moses, God told Aaron to go and meet Moses in the desert
Does God speak so clear and crisp?
He does. That’s why Aaron took the pain to go into the desert and meet Moses
When they met, Moses told everything to Aaron; he also shared about the miraculous signs God wanted to perform. Nothing was hidden (Ref: Acts 20:20)
A relationship initiated by God will bring glory to God, and will last longer
Instead, those initiated without divine guidance may even “hurt” in the end!
Many organizations/projects that started in a ”great way”, also collapsed in a “great” way, because the “start” was not from God
Moses knew that he was on God’s mission, not his own
What people see, are all the activities. But what God sees, is the attitude behind those activities/actions
In the spiritual realm, only that which is of divine origin will last
For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail. 39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God.” (Acts 5:38-39, NIV 84)
What God starts, he will accomplish/finish (Phil 1:6)
Are you involved in anything that just originated in your mind?
It is time to re-evaluate and re-consider
8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD.
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9, NIV 84)
Sometimes, we may be in agreement with certain people on a certain “plan” regarding some spiritual issue/situation, but that does not necessarily mean we are in agreement with God!
Let our steps be ordered by the Lord, as it was with Moses
God bless you!

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank you for your presence and guidance. Help me to better understand your plans for me and the things I am involved in. Amen
