Today: He did his part!

 Passage:  Rom 4: 25 NIV

25 He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.

Jesus lived for us, died for us and resurrected for us

Jesus did not waste a single moment of His life; He gained every moment of it!

When we see the sufferings and hardships of people living elsewhere, we can never complain! Most of you who read this live in the top 5 % of the world, economically

But we have a train-load of complaints and our problems are endless..!

Very rarely are we happy or thankful enough (!)

Life lived selfishly, is a waste God’s investment in us

There is one thing we all can do, without even leaving our homes: PRAY!

If we have problems in our own life, PRAY!

If we have problems at work/job, PRAY

Problem in the family? PRAY

Problem in the Church?  PRAY

If children don’t feel like studying or obeying, PRAY

If PRAYER does not work, try praise

But, there are things we need to do, other than just pray all the time

God loves us and respects us as His children. God will let us do the things that we are responsible for; He will definitely help us

We help our children with Home work and stuff like that, but we don’t do what they should do. If we do what they must do, we contribute to their incapability

Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves

He (Jesus) was delivered over to death for our sins

He (Jesus) was raised to life for our justification.

Now, it is our chance -to do for God what we can do

When we sit in our comfortable homes, drive our comfortable cars and use our comfortable computers and laptops, millions are living in extreme poverty

People are beaten, persecuted and killed for being Christians

If we don’t at least pray for them and ask God to bring those persecutors to the saving knowledge of Christ, what else are we doing with all that we enjoy?

Jesus gave His life for us; can’t we give some of our time for Him?

I see some people sitting and doing nothing, saying “God will do it all for me”

If you work and earn and save nothing when you can, it will hurt in the end

In the same way, we need to make investment in heaven, while we can

Use a little bit of time every day, for that

Sometimes, when kids are called to wake up in the morning, they say, “some more time please”

We have been saying that to God, for few decades now; “Lord, I want to sleep for some more time please”

God is like: “How long?” He says, “Arise; and shine!” (Isaiah 60:1)

Our light has come! We don’t sleep after the sun comes up in the sky

The sun of righteousness-the son of God, is almost here. Get up, or you will miss it!

God bless your efforts

Prayer: Lord Jesus, I have slept enough. Help me to do your work now. I am available. Amen
