Today: He will STOP for you!

 Passage:  Mark 10: 51, 52 NIV

51“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

52“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

Identity crisis is a big problem many are dealing with

It comes out in different ways; we can see people doing lot of crazy things when they struggle with this issue

In the US, in the past few weeks, four teenagers committed suicide in a matter of about twenty days

Many of them were the victims of bullying-someone was bothering/threatening them at school or so

That is why, it is important to talk about Jesus; He is a friend unlike anybody

He will be with us in any kind of situation

Many a time, we don’t even know what these kids are going through

They need prayer and support; they need to know what to do in a crisis

Blind Bartimaeus would have been a victim of Identity crisis if he had not decided to call upon Jesus

He would have felt very depressed and would have hated himself

But he acted timely and wisely; he decided to call upon Jesus!

Have we ever decided to stop calling upon Jesus because someone told us something?

If so, we are the loosers, not God!

We live in a world which boasts about the advancement of science and technology

They speak about pilotless commercial planes by 2035!

But one day, there will be a great disappearance of so many people from this earth!

In a split second, thousands will disappear, and will be added to the Lord

Science will come up with its own explanations, but that won’t be true!

Science boasts about the big bang theory; the word of God says, “God spoke things into creation”

God’s voice is probably what they are talking about

The answer to the problems of many, including these teens who ended up their lives, is not science. You and I have the answer; the answer is Jesus!

The word of God, the gospel, is grace and truth

Grace is love manifested; it does not look at the bad part of what happened already

Grace knows no boundaries; love of God reaches beyond all barriers

True love is divine; it is not selfish or self-seeking

But truth is also part of the gospel

You can show all compassion to somebody and help them in so many ways

You can feed or clothe somebody; you can counsel or comfort

But remember to give them the truth of the gospel; their soul should not be lost

Gospel is more than humanism; it is about saying, “you must be born again”

The “god of this world” has blinded the eyes of many

They don’t even know that; we need to first pray for them and share the good news that somebody really loves them

And that is none other than Jesus, who stopped for Blind Bartimaeus!

He is willing to stop for anyone willing to call upon Him

He will definitely do the miracle; He is God

Have a blessed day

Prayer: Lord Jesus, forgive me for being spiritually blind and ignoring you. I did not recognize you many a time, even while I really needed you. Now, I really need your help to come out of my spiritual blindness. Heal me O God. Amen
