Today: We can be kinder

 Passage:  Lam 3:22-26NIV

22 Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.

23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

24 I say to myself, “The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.”

 25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;

26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Thank God for His faithfulness and mercy

It is because of Him that we get up every morning and go to work

He saved us from many near-death situations

He saved us from sin, and is still saving us from sin

Many were the instances when we would have fallen; but the Lord was gracious

When we went through some long waiting periods for God’s action, we said, “Lord, enough”, just like Jeremiah. But Jeremiah was in a pit, and was beaten up!

Sometimes, it takes a little longer than we think, for certain answers to come

For Abraham, it took 25 years after God promised him a son

He rushed half way through. But God did what He promised, at His time

David had to wait nearly forty years. Jacob spent twenty years in Laban’s house

While we are still waiting for God’s answer in our life, God is waiting upon us too

He wants to know what plans we have, to fulfill God’s will in our life, to save another person from their “hell”

Science and technology can give us many things, but not the kind of peace and joy that God alone can give!

In a very busy world, the most precious moments in our life are the moments we spent with (the word) God

That is our charging station, where the battery of our life-machine gets fresh charge

Most people do not take it much serious, but it is very important to plug yourself in with God, whenever you can

If you get some time to walk, make it a prayer-walk. You get exercise for your body and strength for your soul; you bring blessing to that place

People often speak about life after death; but what about life before death?

The other day, I was reading about a person who lost his leg because of a shark attack. His name is Krishna Thomson

What amazed me was that he was still speaking in favor of preserving sharks

How do we treat people who have wronged us?

If we have treated them badly, say “sorry”

We need to treat people based on how Jesus treats us

There are many who need love and healing. We could be kinder

Sometimes we may get upset with children or other family members, when they are looking for some love and understanding from us

Don’t loose connections; once lost, it is difficult to get it back. Don’t burn the bridges. Relationships are more important than anything else, in life

Money is not the most important thing in life

We received grace and mercy, and we pay jealousy and hatred to others?

11 Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. (Prov 24, NIV)

12 If you say, “But we knew nothing about this,” does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
Does not he who guards your life know it? Will he not repay each person according to what he has done?

There is so much we can do for others, with our life

We need to stop being selfish and thinking only about ourselves

Be a blessing to God and others; we will be blessing ourselves that way!

God bless your day

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your love and blessings. Make me a thankful person, a blessing to many. Help me to rebuild the relationships that are broken. Amen
