Today: Until divorce do us part?

Passage: Mat 19: 3-6 NIV

3Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”  4“Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.”

The marriage vow is “Until death do us part”

But now, it has become, “until divorce do us part”, here in New York especially

Marriage is a divine institution by God

Since it is from God, we can only expect the world to fight it to its best

So, as the Governor of New York signed this “No fault divorce” bill,

It had made things very easy for those who needed a divorce

Just like going to a star bucks and getting a coffee, a man  can now go out as if he was going to get a breakfast, and come back with the divorce letter in his hand, while the family was thinking “Daddy went to get break-fast for all of us!”

That is why it is important to pray for our leaders

Which is the biggest problem facing America today?

The Mosque in Manhattan? The drive-in divorce? The North-Korea issue?

I don’t know. But I know one thing

A nation is stronger when family value is strong

The nations with strong families will come to the top. Just watch and see

The principles of the word of God looks foolish to the people of this world

In some religions, divorce is O.K.  But the Bible does not support divorce

Ephesians 5:22-32 is a beautiful passage on marriage

When immigrants from other countries came to the US, they brought their strong family values with them

Today, those values have become a great strength to America, even as this nation is fighting marriage with all its might

I just went to an internet site where 90% people voted “Yes” for the “No-fault divorce”

http://mycrains.crainsnewyork.com/polls

People are thirstier to get out of marriage, than to get into it

Because, in the very first place, their intention was not to stay together for life

Divorce is separation and separation is death of a relationship

When a person intentionally chooses death, it is suicide

Divorce is suicide of a relationship. There is a heavy price tag attached to it

All people have problems in life. But God is the center-piece in a Christian marriage. When there are problems or issues, a child of God should first let God know about it

No one has the right to end their own life or marriage. First speak to God, because He is the giver of life and He is the one who unites people in Holy matrimony

One thing is sure. It is time. It is time to pray more than ever

It is time for the coming of Jesus Christ

Pray for the nation and its leaders now, if you have not been doing it

Blaming somebody is not the solution. Prayer is

Be prayed

BG

Prayer: Lord, I admit my mistake of not praying enough for my nation as well as leaders. Lord, give our leaders wisdom and sense to do the right thing. Amen
