Today: God’s best-for His best!
Passage: Isaiah 61: 3 NIV
3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion—
to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes,
the oil of gladness instead of mourning,
and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.
They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. (emphasis added)
God does not expect His children to be just existing, and as ordinary people
He wants them to be extra ordinary people because they have an extra ordinary God with them
He wants you and me to live like a friend of God
If the president of the nation is our best friend, people will know
Are we proud of the fact that God almighty, the creator of heaven and earth is our friend?
I know He is more than a friend. But He likes to be our best friend too
He does not want us to be in ashes or in mourning
He does not want us to be in despair, because we are His bride and God himself is always happy in Himself
He wants us to be dressed with the best garment-of praise
Are we happy to see our family happy?
Some people like to see their family sad, while they want to be happy
Those are the people who go alone and enjoy good food, never take the family out
They are the people who go and have the liquor and come home and make all kind of problems
While I was a child, we lived in a village of my dad, for a year
The people who work in the farms get out early in the morning and have their breakfast in the tea-shop
Then, they get their best lunch and finally, in the evening some of them walk to the toddy (alcoholic drink) shop and fill themselves with the stuff from there, eats good food there
The people in the home barely eat any good food
It is the man’s only privilege (!) because he is the one who works
But look at our God
He wants his family, which is you and me, to enjoy all that is in heaven and all that belongs to Him
Even in this world, He wants to see us rejoicing, happy, praising and praying
He wants to see us happy in His presence than in the things of this world
It is O.K to sing and dance in His presence
David did it, while He was a King
You know what kind of a City God is preparing for us?
It is the best ever-a million times better than Taj Mahal!
15 The angel who talked to me held in his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16 When he measured it, he found it was a square, as wide as it was long. In fact, its length and width and height were each 1,400 miles.[c] 17 Then he measured the walls and found them to be 216 feet thick[d] (according to the human standard used by the angel). 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, as clear as glass. 19 The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve precious stones:[e] the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were made of pearls—each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass. (Rev 21: 15-21, NLT) (emphasis added)
This God loves us so much. He has given us only the best
Seek the will of God in your life, more than anything else. That is the best

Prayer: Lord, I never knew you were preparing such a great place for me, when you said you were going to prepare a mansion for me. I am sorry for living carelessly and for looking for mansions here. Thank you. Amen
