Today: It is time to pray!
Passage: Isaiah 26:20 NIV
20 Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you;
hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by.
19 Arise, cry out in the night, as the watches of the night begin;
pour out your heart like water in the presence of the Lord.
Lift up your hands to him for the lives of your children,
who faint from hunger at the head of every street. (Lamentations 2: 19) NIV
Prayer is the greatest privilege God has given us
If the privilege of prayer was not there, what would we have done?
God listens to the prayers and the cries of His children
God expects us to turn to Him and ask about our next step in life
Jesus spent every possible minute, in prayer
He needed it; we need it even more!
Many people struggle in life because of lack of prayer
The #1 trick of the enemy is to prevent the Christian from praying
Prayer changes people. It changer the Pray-er first
What we need is more Pray-ers than preachers
We can preach and still perish. I mean, many preachers have fallen
But a person with a good prayer life can lead a victorious Christian life
Why there’s so much trouble and lack of growth in many of our churches?
Why is it that we have many un-happy people in the churches?
Lack of prayer-real prayer!
If we can find the right people to pray together, get together and pray!
There is power, when people come together and pray
These days, people prefer to attend even worship services on-line
So, they can sit home and have worship!
No commitment, no meeting anybody, no accountability
Weddings and funerals may become on-line, in these days
If we go to heaven, do you think we will have closed circuit TV in the rooms so that everyone can stay in their rooms and attend worship?
The gathering of the saints in one place, has its significance
In cases where that is not possible, God understands
We can listen to so many great preachers on TV.
But none of that should replace our coming together and worshipping God
Why people go to a movie theater, even in these days when many people have a theater in their own homes?
It makes a difference, I think
Why people go to a restaurant instead of buying food from there and bring it home and eat?
These days, there is no such thing as “family prayer” in many homes
It is an area where devil has taken much advantage-take family prayer away from Christian homes and replace it with the ” ” Box called TV!
I would say, come together as a family, at least one time a day
Family prayers have helped many of us very much, to come up as a Christian
We may use musical instruments if children like to use it
Make it the most interesting event of the day!
If you decided to start a new discipline in prayer, you will see specific results in life.
It is time to pray. Don’t wait any longer

Prayer: Lord, many a time I didn’t understand the tricks of the enemy. More than anything else, I want to pray. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Without your help, I cannot make it. So help me God. Amen
