Today: The POWER OF PRAYER

Passage: Psalm 33: 10-12 NIV

10 The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

11 But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all   generations.

12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.

The miracle that happened in Times Square recently has been told as a “luck” by the mayor as well as top officials of New York City

But there are a few things that come to my mind, as I think of Times Square

The first thing that comes to my mind is not the ball-drop on New Year’s eve

It is not even the area that is packed like in day, at 2:00 AM in the morning

First, it is the Times Square Church (David Wilkerson)

Second, I remember they have this prayer ceremony held right on the streets of Times Square September 20

Last year, on September 20, I was also there with family to join thousands of others, praying for New York City and the United States of America

Satan does not like such events, but those moments are precious, for the city

When God has to save a city from destruction, He will be looking at the prayers of the people. That is what we see, as Abraham was pleading for Sodom and Gomorrah

Even though some of our cities are worse than Sodom and Gomorrah, there are many praying men and women in these cities, keeping watch on them through prayer

What is more powerful than prayer?

Some may say, “Luck” is

I don’t believe it

Keep praying and you will see miracles

All those “No” will turn to “Yes” and all “closed” will become “open”, if that is what God wants for you

The plans of the enemy, God will spoil

God loves your city; do you?

Today is National day of prayer

Some judge ordered the National day of prayer to be cancelled

She is one of the few who knows the power of prayer

Do you?

God bless
